Jupiter Night
You can see for a hundred miles
On a Jupiter night in a ship
Headed straight for nowhere
As we look to the wind for a sigh
And we wave our last goodbye
It’s a fact we may never return
All the bridges behind us
We’ve burned
And the sun going down
Is a constant reminder
Of freedom
And all of the things that we learn
Will serve as pure gold in return
As we sail to the edge of a world
Where no one has been to
On a Jupiter night in a ship
Headed straight for nowhere
And the air is so clear
You can see for a hundred miles
On a Jupiter night in a ship
Headed straight for nowhere
As we look to the wind for a sigh
And we wave our last goodbye
I’ve just said goodbye to my friends
The journey is about to begin
As the captain and crewmen
Are boarding their ship
Headed nowhere
The boy serves the captain his tea
The first mate is looking at me
He seems to suspect
That I’ve been neglecting
My duties
On a Jupiter night in a ship
Headed straight for nowhere
And the air is so clear
I’ve just said goodbye to my friends
The journey is about to begin
As the captain and crewmen
Are boarding their ship
Headed nowhere
The boy serves the captain his tea
The first mate is looking at me
He seems to suspect
That I’ve been neglecting
My duties
On a Jupiter night in a ship
Headed straight for nowhere
And the air is so clear
You can see for a hundred miles
On a Jupiter night in a ship
Headed straight for nowhere
As we look to the wind for a sigh
And we wave our last goodbye
Ah we look to the wind for a sigh
As we wave our last goodbye
